By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the Service, you ("you" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

Nutri AI is an AI-powered nutrition and healthy-lifestyle platform. The Service may include, without limitation:

AI Food Scanning — image-based food recognition and estimated nutritional information.
Calorie & Nutrition Database — informational entries about food items, ingredients, and dishes.
Recipes — written and visual recipe content.
Calculators — tools such as BMI, BMR, calorie needs, macronutrient, and water intake calculators.
Video on Demand (VOD) — streaming educational and instructional videos.

Features may be added, modified, suspended, or removed at any time without notice.

2. No Medical, Nutritional, or Professional Advice

Important: Nutri AI is an informational and educational tool. It is not a medical device, medical service, or licensed nutritionist.

All content provided through the Service — including AI-generated outputs, calorie estimates, recipes, calculator results, articles, videos, and short guides — is for general informational and educational purposes only and is not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or nutritional counseling.

You should always consult a qualified physician, registered dietitian, or other appropriate healthcare professional before:

Beginning or changing any diet, exercise, supplementation, or weight-management program;
Making decisions based on calorie, macronutrient, or other nutritional estimates;
Relying on AI Food Scanning results, particularly if you have food allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, or specific dietary requirements;
Acting on any information provided to children, pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, or persons with chronic health conditions.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read, seen, or generated on Nutri AI. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or make a purchase. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

3.2 Registration

To access certain features, you must register and create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at the contact details below if you suspect any unauthorized use.

3.4 Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or engage in activity that may harm Nutri AI, its users, or third parties.

4. AI Food Scanning and AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence and machine-learning models to recognize food items from images and to estimate nutritional information. By using AI features, you acknowledge and agree that:

AI outputs are probabilistic estimates and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.
Portion size, ingredients, cooking methods, hidden components (oils, sauces, additives), and allergens cannot be reliably detected from an image alone.
AI outputs must not be relied upon for clinical decisions, allergen avoidance, religious dietary compliance, or any safety-critical purpose.
You are solely responsible for verifying any nutritional, ingredient, or allergen information before consuming any food.
Images you upload may be processed by third-party AI service providers under our Privacy Policy.

We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated results for any particular purpose.

5. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Payments

5.1 Premium Subscriptions

Some features are available only through paid premium subscriptions ("Subscription"). By subscribing, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method.

5.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5.3 Pricing and Taxes

All prices are displayed in the currency selected at checkout (e.g., USD or EUR). Prices may change at any time; changes will not affect Subscriptions already paid for the current billing period. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or currency-conversion fees imposed by your payment provider or jurisdiction.

5.4 One-Time Purchases

Digital products (such as downloadable guides, recipe packs, or VOD content) and any physical products are sold on a one-time basis. Title and risk transfer in accordance with the delivery method (instant download for digital items).

5.5 Refunds

Except where required by applicable law:

Digital content (including PDFs, recipes, VOD, and premium content) is considered delivered and consumed upon access or download and is non-refundable.
Subscriptions are non-refundable for partial billing periods.
Physical products, if any, are governed by the refund/return policy displayed at the time of purchase.

We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds or credits in exceptional cases.

5.6 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment-card details on our servers. Your use of payment services is subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
Upload, post, or transmit content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, infringing, obscene, harassing, hateful, or that promotes unsafe dietary, eating-disorder, self-harm, or extreme weight-loss behavior;
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service;
Probe, scan, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service or its AI models;
Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access, harvest, or extract content or data from the Service except as expressly permitted;
Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or impair the Service or its infrastructure;
Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our prior written consent;
Use the Service to develop, train, or improve any competing AI model or product;
Circumvent any technical protection, paywall, geofence, or usage limit.

7. User-Generated Content

The Service may allow you to submit content, including forum posts, comments, poll responses, images for food scanning, reviews, and newsletter content ("User Content").

7.1 Ownership and License

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Nutri AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Service.

7.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to submit it and grant the license above, and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

7.3 Moderation

We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, moderate, edit, or remove User Content at any time without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Nutri AI — including text, graphics, logos (including the Nutri AI brand and four-petal flower mark), images, videos, recipes, guides, calculator outputs, software, AI models, and the overall "look and feel" of the Service — is owned by Nutri AI or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service and its content for your personal, non-commercial use only. No other rights are granted, expressly or by implication.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, content, or services (e.g., payment processors, video hosting, social networks, AI providers, analytics, advertising). We do not control and are not responsible for any third-party services, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your information, including images submitted for AI Food Scanning, account data, and usage data. By using the Service, you consent to those practices.

11. Cookies

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Service. By continuing to use the Service, you consent to our use of cookies as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:

Nutritional information, calorie counts, AI outputs, or calculator results are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular individual;
Recipes are safe, allergen-free, or appropriate for any specific dietary need;
The Service will be available without interruption, error, or security incident;
Any content will be free of viruses or other harmful components.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Nutri AI, its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, health consequences, or any damages arising from:

Your use of, or inability to use, the Service;
Reliance on any AI output, calorie estimate, recipe, guide, or other content;
Any adverse health, nutritional, allergic, or medical outcome;
Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or content;
Any third-party conduct or content on the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Nutri AI to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Nutri AI in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such cases, the limitations above apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nutri AI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) any User Content you submit.

15. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nutri AI operates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

17. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemics, governmental action, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, or third-party service outages.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if it cannot be modified, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies or terms expressly referenced herein or presented at checkout, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nutri AI regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
